Memory is the human brain's ability to encode, store, retain, and then recall information in the past. Memory is the sum total of what we remember, and gives us the ability to learn and adapt from previous experiences and build relationships. It is the ability to remember past experiences, and the power or process of recall to remember previously learned events, experiences, impressions, skills and habits. It is the store of things learned and retained from our activities or experiences, as evidenced by structural or behavioral modification, or by withdrawal and recognition.
